• Support for parents who are navigating the public and private school settings with their child, both in general and special education. This can include those in the preschool, school-aged or adult service areas.

Janet has nearly 40 years in public and private education having served as a teacher, reading
specialist, secondary principal and Director of Education and Student Services in multiple school settings. She also serves as an adjunct and Assistant Professor of Special Education at Wilson College. She also serves as an educational consultant and advocate for students and their families in the Washington,  D.C. area. She is the parent of an adult child with special needs, which has given her a unique perspective on both the parent and educator side of the educational process. Her goal is to share her knowledge and experience that she has acquired throughout her career and personal life with organizations, professionals and parents to help them provide a better learning experience for their students and
children.
